Description: Chicago White Sox contracts and related letters/pieces from the Pierce Collection. Includes Pierce's file copy 1960 and 1961 White Sox contracts signed by Hank Greenberg as club representative (not signed by Pierce); 1961 Charles A. Comiskey signed letter to Pierce thanking him for service to team; 1961 letter on White Sox stationery altering him of his release which includes the original American League release document; 1991 dated handwritten letter from Mary Frances Veeck thanking Pierce for his remarks at the dedication of a press box named in her late husbands honor in Comiskey Park. Light scattered wear which is more pronounced to one contract that appears to have some water damage.
