Description: Rare Travis Jackson autographed professional model baseball bat c.1921-31. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with Jackson facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 36.9oz. Strong usage wear is evident on the barrel which has visible ball, contact, and cleat marks. Signed "Travis Jackson" in fountain pen rating 7/8 out of 10; an exceedingly desirable trait which serves to place the bat directly into his hands. The New York Giants regular shortstop for the better part of (15) seasons, Jackson was one of the premier defensive players of his time and long served as team Captain. An exceedingly rare Hall of Famer game bat, this is one of perhaps (5) or (6) to have surfaced and, as far as we can confirm, it is the only autographed example.
