Description: Roberto Clemente 3,000th Hit Pittsburgh Pirates presentational silver vase c.1972. Sterling silver vase as presented to Clemente in recognition of his 3,000th career hit by his Pittsburgh Pirates teammates. Cylindrical vase features incised facsimile signatures of the players including Stargell, Mazeroski, Blass, Ellis, and Virdon. Marked "Sterling" on the base with a total weight of 31 Troy oz. (Note: Weighted base). The body of the vase does have some surface indentations (one at bottom is a bit more noticeable) from age and handling. Overall presentation remains fairly strong.
