Description: Dixie Walker professional model baseball bat c.1933-34. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Walker facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.5oz. Strong usage wear evident throughout with grain swelling due to repeated contact and ball, stitch, and cleat marks. Substantial handle crack has been repaired with a vintage nail and it appears that the bat surface was likely oiled. Scarce game bat from a notable former Yankees and Dodgers player.
