Description: Scarce Washington Ambassadors WFL prototype helmet c.1973-74. Uncommon professional helmet as created for the WFL franchise which never even took the field and eventually became the Florida Blazers. Riddell suspension helmet retains its original Washington team logos on both sides along with WFL decal on the reverse. Helmet shows light general use with some age toning and a few impact markings.
