Description: Scarce April 14, 1914 Pittsburgh vs. Brooklyn Federal League panoramic photograph. Original sepia tone image pictures a sprawling view as taken at Pittsburgh's Exposition Park on the occasion of the opening day contest between the Pittsburgh Rebels and the Brooklyn Tip Tops. Both teams are visible standing in front of a capacity crowd in the grandstands. Image quality is outstanding retaining original contrast and clarity. Top left corner area of the photo has a professionally repaired tear with some surface residue that does extend into the image area of the photo. Titled and dated at bottom center along with photographer "W.O. Breckon Studios, Pittsburgh" stamping. 8 1/2"x46" framed.
