Description: Connie Mack single signed baseball. Light to moderately toned Harridge AL ball signed across the sweetspot by Mack in bold black fountain pen. Signature presents very nicely rating 8 out of 10 with a period coating of shellac over top of the sweetspot area. It should be noted that upon review JSA opined that the offered Mack signature was signed by another Phila. Athletics player rather than Connie Mack. While we certainly agree that a great number of Mack signatures from that time period are in fact clubhouse signed it is our opinion that the offered example is in fact authentic. This opinion is based on a number of factors inclusive of signature size, formation, and in part contextual provenance based on the other similar baseballs within the Onslow collection. As such, this baseball is being represented only with a letter from the family and is sold as represented only.
