Description: St. Louis Cardinals 1967 ¡World Champions flag from old Busch Stadium. Enormous white nylon flag measures nearly 14 feet long and features colorful Cardinals logo and lettering including "World Champions 1967" stitched on. The flag flew over Busch Stadium in commemoration of the Cardinals' 1967 title. The 1967 World Series pitted the St. Louis Cardinals against the Boston Red Sox in a rematch the 1946 World Series. The Cardinals emerged on top thanks to outstanding performances by Bob Gibson and Lou Brock; but the underdog Red Sox were in it until the final match-up of ace pitchers in Game 7. Flag shows moderate wear and retains excellent display quality. A tag from the Baldwin Regalia Co. of St. Louis Mo. is stitched on the canvas border.
