Description: 1973 Bucky Dent autographed "1st Major League Stolen Base." Vintage base (complete with metal anchor in back) has a period handwritten notation on the front reading "1st Major League Stolen Base." It was signed more recently "Bucky Dent" in marker rating 8 out of 10. The date ("14th August 73") was penned in error as Dent's first stolen base came on August 27th, 1973 in the White Sox vs. Brewers game played in Chicago. Dent has confirmed that this is indeed the base and the notation was mistakenly done. It stands as one of very few Major League game attributed bases from the 1970s which we have offered and makes for a fine display piece. Soiling and expected use with some minor age related wear.
