Description: 1915 Philadelphia Phillies Evening Ledger rotogravure - National League Champions. Charming early display piece being a large format photographic rotogravure page issued as part of the Evening Ledger on April 22, 1915. It shows members of the team which would go on to claim the National League pennant including Hall of Famers Dave Bancroft (Rookie season) and Eppa Rixey. Framed to 27.5"x33.5", it has been mounted to sturdy backing (which serves to stabilize the fragile material) and there are areas where material has been added to fill in chips. In addition there appear to be some tears and other flaws which were similarly addressed.
