Oversized hardcover volume (11"x14") is one of the cornerstone early works on baseball history and highlighted by (5) color plates which are bound within. Four of these are beautifully illustrated with baseball related graphic and subjects include Cal McVey, Rube Waddell, and George Wright. Handling and some mild general age related wear and the McVey plate has been backed/mounted to secure a large tear.
