Description: Bill Nicholson related archive including 1940 All-Star Game and 1949 Eddie Waitkus presentational watches. Includes Lord Elgin brand wristwatch which is engraved "William Nicholson, All-Star 1940" with game scores noted below; Longines brand wristwatch which is engraved "To Nick, To Remember 1949, Eddie Waitkus." A particularly interesting piece given that Waitkus had famously been shot in June of that year. He and Nicholson were close friends with Bill serving as best man at his wedding in 1951; Association of Professional Ball Players of America metal membership card with "William B. Nicholson" name engraved; Stetson brand hat (appears largely unworn) with impressed mark that it was made for Nicholson; and binder of Nicholson related ephemera including (11) vintage career era photographs, 1952 Topps baseball card (VG/EX), 1950 Bulletin Pinup, small autographed paper stock image, and others.
