Description: 1996 Chipper Jones autographed Atlanta Braves professional model home jersey with World Series patch (Braves Foundation COA - SGC/Grob: VG). White home jersey with "Braves" team name across the front has number "11" on back below a "C.Jones" nameplate. Wilson tag on the front tail has adjacent size "44" flag tag and there is a "96" embroidered year tag below. A 1996 World Series patch is on the left sleeve however it is unclear if this jersey was specifically prepared for post-season use. There is light evident use and Jones has signed a back number in marker rating 8 out of 10. An included COA from the Atlanta Braves Foundation (dated October 26, 1996) refers to the jersey as "game worn and autographed." Jones hit (.309) in 1996 and his (30) home runs helped lead the Braves to another National League pennant. Although they would ultimately fall to the Yankees in the World Series, his post-season performance helped to solidify his reputation as one of the bright young stars in baseball.
