Description: Paul Molitor professional model baseball bat c.1986-92 (PSA/DNA "GU 9"). Cooper model H176 Pro 100 bat with Molitor name printed on the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 31.3oz. Player number "4" is written on the knob in marker and there is an additional smaller "4" to one side. PSA noted on the included documentation that Molitor had a known habit of numbering some of his preferred game bats. Outstanding use is evident throughout including ball marks which predominantly fall on the upper hitting surface which has grain swelling due to repeated contact. Light coat of pine tar on the handle which has an "H" shaped crack. Very strong example (with particular note to extensive use) dating to the heart of Molitor's Hall of Fame career.
