Description: Mike Schmidt autographed and "game used" inscribed Philadelphia Phillies professional model batting helmet c.1970-80s. Maroon helmet has the Phillies "P" team logo decal applied on front along with player number "20" decal below. The number appears again on back beside a faint impressed markers' mark. "American Baseball Cap" size (7 3/8) label is inside. Strong use is evident throughout and it has been signed "Mike Schmidt" with "game used" inscription rating 9 out of 10. It likely dates to the early 1980s, the era in which Schmidt lead the Philles to their first World Series Championship. He was the cornerstone of the franchise at the time combining elite power at the plate with Gold Glove caliber defense in the field. The offered represents one of very pieces we have handled which bears Schmidt's own "game used" endorsement.
