Description:Superb Mike Schmidt autographed professional model baseball bat with attribution to 1980 World Championship season (Team Source Provenance). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35 1/4" long and weighs 33.3 ounces with bold manufacturer's stampings including "SCHMIDT" block letter name and K55 model number. Overall use is outstanding to include numerous ball marks, stitching impressions, blue ink transfer marks, cleat marks, red/blue rack marks, and pine tar residue to the handle. The knob end displays a vintage "20" uniform number in black ink with barrel end having cupped termination. There is a red tape ring applied to the handle area which was done by Schmidt to mirror Adirondack model bats to which Schmidt was under contract. The barrel area has been signed by Schmidt in blue sharpie adding highly uncommon and desirable "Game used" inscription. The bat was obtained by a member of the Phillies organization during the 1980 World Championship season along with the historic Tug McGraw World Series Game #6 jersey within this same auction. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA (Bat)(GU 10), LOA from Hunt Auctions (Bat), auction LOA from JSA (Autograph), and letter of provenance from the original recipient: EX
