Description: Roy Campanella Caguas Criollos photograph c.1940-42. Extremely rare original 2 1/4"x3 1/4" sepia tone photo picturing a youthful Roy Campanella wearing Caguas Criollos uniform along with teammates Bill Byrd and Lennie Pearson. The image is affixed to a small cardboard backing with names written in ink. Image quality is quite good with some surface wrinkling present. Campanella excelled within the Puerto Rican winter leagues and was a formative period within his eventual path to a Hall of Fame career with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
