Description: Scarce Chicago American Giants "Top Hitters" photograph with Turkey Stearnes c.1930s (PSA Type III). Unique vintage photograph depicting the quartet of leading batsman for the Chicago American Giants pictured standing in full uniform. Titled in ink at the top margin "Chicago American Giants Top Hitters" with player names at bottom "1939 Pep Young, 1B, Subby Byas, C, Turkey Stearnes, OF, and Alex Radcliffe, 3B". Superb image quality and presentation with only a few minor surface wrinkles and blank back. First example we have encountered with relation to one of the more storied teams in Negor League history.
