Description: 1925 Lone Rock All-Stars African American team photograph (PSA Type I). Well uniformed team of African American Iowa based semi-professional baseball players posed in outdoor setting. Clarity and contrast are very fine with period hand written ink notation at bottom margin, "Lone Rock IA 1925". Back of the 3 1/2"x 5 3/4" photo has some paper residue from scrapbook removal and a few handwritten notations including "Top L, 4th, Charlie" believed to be in reference to Charlie Hancock.
