Description: 1924 Howard University Baseball Team Reunion Photograph with Several Negro League Players. Incredible early image picturing a uniformed team posed with several managers in front of a stadium wall with charming "Welcome Home" banner in the background in reference to a Howard University baseball team reunion. Several different uniform types are visible including New York Lincoln Giants (unknown player) and Baltimore Black Sox (Frank 'Doc' Sykes) .Image size measures 9"x13" having been laid down on board with heaving creasing, some tears, and moderate perimeter losses. "1924" date written at bottom margin. The images quality remains fairy strong with the general condition serving as an excellent candidate for professional restoration.
