Description: Exceedingly scarce Kansas City Monarchs real photo postcard with Carroll Mothell, Dewey Creacy, and "Lewis" c.1920s. Original photographic postcard picturing the three players posed in Kansas City Monarchs uniforms with period ink identifications underneath. Top left corner has fairly large chip that affects the top portion of Lewis' image. Additional crease at top right with back having a few notations about player names. First example of this notably obscure Negro League postcard we have encountered. Includes letter of provenance from Phil Dixon: PREstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
