Imposing 17"x21" black and white oversized image of Babe Ruth in full batting pose signed at the bottom margin, "To A Pal that is a pal and I mean Jimmy Chapman From Babe Ruth". Black fountain pen signature and inscription present in outstanding overall condition with consistent eye appeal throughout rating 8 out of 10. The photo itself is of a matte finish and exhibits uncommonly strong clarity for its size/era having only a few minor surface line wrinkles, one tiny puncture/indentation, and a few areas of very minor surface residue. . Ruth was documented to having only signed a very limited number of these imperial sized images with most given to close personal acquaintances or notable figures.
