Description: Very fine Honus Wagner single signed baseball with its original Honus Wagner Sporting Goods box (PSA/DNA 8 NM-MT overall). Remarkably well preserved Honus Wagner' Sporting Goods "Official League" baseball which has been signed by it's namesake across a side panel, "Honus Wagner Pirates 44" . The black fountain pen signature and inscription remain in as signed condition with the team/date portion of the signature a bit darker than Wagner's name assuredly due to ink flow from the writing instrument. Overall grade for the signature is 7 out of 10 but clearly ranges from 7-8. The baseball itself is preserved in spectacular condition with near white surface and notably bold manufacturer's stampings. The rare original box is included as well which displays several iterations of the Wagner name and insignia. Wagner single signature baseballs in high grade condition are very rarely offered at auction with this exemplar ranking among the very finest we have presented. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (Ball: 8, Signature: 7, Overall: 8): Ball : NM/MT-MT, Signature: Range from NM-NM/MTEstimated Price Range: ($25,000-$50,000)
