Generally low-grade collection of (273) different cards is missing only one (#82 Mickey Mantle; offered separately in this auction) to complete the set. Four cards have been professionally graded: #s 1 Jackie Robinson (SGC 1 PR), 149 Dom DiMaggio (PSA 7 NM OC), 220 Satchel Paige (SGC 1.5 FR) and 244 Willie Mays (SGC 1 PR). Other ungraded key cards include #s 27 Roy Campanella (PR), 37 Eddie Mathews (GD), 54 Bob Feller (PR), 76 Pee Wee Reese (PR), 86 Billy Martin (FR), 104 Yogi Berra (PR), 114 Phil Rizzuto (PR), 147 Warren Spahn (GD), 207 Whitey Ford (FR), 258 Jim Gilliam RC (PR; writing on reverse and 263 Johhny Podres RC (PR; stamp on reverse). Balance of the near-set, housed in pages and a binder, appears mostly GD-VG with some (mostly commons) in nicer shape. Range: PR-VG/EX (one graded PSA 7 NM OC).
