Generally low-grade collection of (309) different cards is missing only one (#261 Willie Mays; offered separately in this auction) to complete a low-number run from the iconic Topps year. Four cards have been professionally graded: #s 1 Andy Pafko (PSA 1.5 FR (MK), 122 Jackie Jensen (PSA 2.5 GD+), 175 Billy Martin RC (SGC 3 VG) and 191 Yogi Berra (SGC 2.5 GD+). Other ungraded key cards include #s 11 Phil Rizzuto black back (FR), 26 Monte Irvin black back (PR), 33 Warren Spahn red back (PR), 36 Gil Hodges black back (FR OC), 37 Duke Snider red back (PR), 88 Bob Feller (FR; autographed on reverse, rating 8 out of 10), 195 Minnie Minoso RC (PR), 216 Richie Ashburn (FR), 243 Larry Doby (PR) and 277 Early Wynn (FR). Balance of the near-set, with a mixture of black backs and red backs and housed in pages and a binder, appears mostly GD-VG with some (mostly commons) in nicer shape.
