Description: 1934 R309-1 Goudey Premiums Babe Ruth. Key Ruth card from the R309-1 Goudey Premiums series, available only through a mail-in exchange promotion. The 5 1/2"x9" card on thick cardboard stock includes a fold-out easel on the reverse so the card can stand on its own for display. Card exhibits numerous condition flaws, chiefly a 1 1/2" chunk of cardboard missing on the lower right edge. Card also exhibits staining on the lower half, paper loss on the reverse, and "5.00" written in pencil on the reverse.
