Description: Willie Mays "Tribute to the Negro Leagues" presentational plaque from the San Diego Padres. Large (42"x17") wooden plaque has a full sized baseball bat mounted along the bottom which is engraved "Willie Mays, Birmingham Black Barons." Text above reads "Fulfilling The Dream, Padres 5th Annual Tribute to the Negro Leagues." There is a team logo etched at upper left and the opposite side has an applied "Negro League to the Major League" emblem. At the center is an image of a game at play in Petco Park. Very sharp and highly visual piece commemorating Mays' time in the game. Hint of light wear.
