Description: Nice lot of (4) c.1920s-40s basketball related trophies and display pieces. Includes 12" tall metal figural basketball shaped trophy which is engraved with the YMCA logo and "Girls Basketball League…Championship" text. Vaughan Knitting Co is noted as the winner for 1934, 1935, and 1926." Mostly minor tarnish and surface wear with a small dent; additional figural trophy which has placard on the base reading in part, "...1928-28 1st...Y.M.C.A."; pair of early Hood brand canvas basketball sneakers; and a zippered cloth basketball pouch/holder which has vintage marker writing which includes "West End Athletic Club" and there are player names. The handle has come off and a basketball can be seen through the resulting holes (unclear as to dating but appears more modern).
