Description: John Riggins Washington Redskins autographed professional model football cleats c.1970-80s. Pair of Adidas white leather high top cleats as worn by John Riggins during his tenure with Washington in the late 1970s into the early/mid 1980s. "University" model (as stamped on side panel) cleats display the iconic Adidas three stripe décor in maroon which has been custom painted over the original stock issue color. Black screened on Adidas insignia on each. Size is 11 1/2 with both cleats signed by Riggins in black sharpie adding "Game used" inscription. The cleats display very nice evident use including soiling and impact marks. No laces. Includes auction LOA from JSA (autographs), LOA from Hunt Auctions, and signed letter of provenance from John Riggins: EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,500)
