Description: September 18, 1965 "Mickey Mantle Day" Yankees scorecard and (2) ticket stubs. Pair of ticket stubs issued for the game played vs. Detroit at Yankee Stadium. The team celebrated Mickey Mantle Day to mark the occasion as it was Mick's 2,000th career game in pinstripes. Each has a small mark on the front done in period marker (this seems to be a trait shared by most tickets/stubs from this game) and a staple hole near the top. Scorecard shows mild general handling wear and is neatly scored in pencil. Some minor discoloration on back: FR/GD (staple holes)
