Description: 1965 Mickey Mantle Grand Slam Mattress premium with original "sleep set" label. Glossy 5"x7" premium photo issued by Grand Slam Mattress is seldom offered. Small tear to lower edge and there is some general additional wear throughout. Stamped on the back from a Bristol, Connecticut furniture seller; original label which would have been affixed to one of the mattresses. Housed in a tasteful 12.5"x18.5" frame (appears to be secured in place with mounting corners) it shows heavy wear including a series of edge tears and some minor fraying. Rarity cannot be overstated and it is likely that this label is the only example to have surfaced in many years: PREstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
