Description: Unique 1970 George Sosnak "Hall of Fame Banquet" folk art baseball autographed by (15). Period baseball decorated in the inimitable style of George Sosnak with the artwork occupying two panels and covering the stampings. It relates to a March 1970 Manatee County "Baseball Hall of Fame Banquet" and features players Frank Frisch (a rendering of his Hall of Fame plaque) and Charles Gehringer (game action scene and related text). Remaining panels have been signed by (15) attendees including Frisch, Gehringer, Max Carey, Lloyd Waner, Luke Appling, Pie Traynor, Edd Roush, Joe Medwick, George Sisler, Waite Hoyt, Bob Feller, Early Wynn, Bob Prince, Danny Murtaugh, and (1) whom cannot be identified. All are done in ink rating 6/7 to 8 out of 10. Also signed by Sosnak. Light toning. We do not recall seeing another Sosnak ball with multiple Hall of Fame signatures other than the offered.
