Description: 1966 Herman Franks San Francisco Giants professional model road jersey. Road gray jersey has "San Francisco" team name across the front and number "4" on back. In the collar is a "Franks" embroidered strip tag. Spalding tag on the front tail has adjacent size (48) tag. Embroidered below is "66 48" (year and size) and there are wash and "Set 1 1966" flag tags. Well preserved with nice use and wash wear evident throughout. Franks Managed the Giants from 1965 through 1968 leading a star studded roster which included Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, and Juan Marichal. The number "3" which appears on the back of the jersey will never be worn again as the Giants retired it in 1983 in honor of Hall of Famer Bill Terry.
