Description: Dwight White professional model Pittsburgh Steelers game worn jersey c.1972 (extensive wear & team repairs, Steelers Pro Shop authentication, Art Rooney II letter, MeiGray). Black jersey has number "78" on the front, back, and shoulders and here is a "White" nameplate across the back. Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively..." tag is on the front tail with additional below noting size (52). Incredible use is evident throughout including numerous team repairs which cover a large area of the upper portion. "Steelers Authentic Memorabilia" hologram affixed inside (number GU-111609) can be confirmed in their database as "game used." Includes a letter signed by Art Rooney II which further confirms the same, along with LOA from MeiGray (serial #160204) noting the jersey's game use. White was a member of the famed Steel curtain defense which helped power the Steelers to (4) Super Bowl Championships.
