Description: Spalding brand raincap style football helmet c.1910s-20. Top of the line model has well pronounced "Spalding" double circle impressed marks on either side. Crown is done is leather with wool padding inside. Sewn on ear flaps and the original chin strap remain place. Use and general age/storage related wear includes crazing and upper surface flaking to the top and some cracks to lining. Very nice Spalding branded example: GD/VGEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,250)
