Description: 1949 Lynn Chandnois (Michigan State) autographed College All Stars jersey. Distinctive style jersey was issued for use in the 1949 edition of the annual Chicago Tribune Charities College All-Star game which was played in Chicago. It pitted the previous seasons' NFL Philadelphia Eagles against a squad of star college seniors. Blue jersey has the number "14" applied to the front and back. Shoulders are done in gray material with sewn on star decorations and there is red and white trim running down either side. Three quarter length sleeves have sewn in elbow pads. Wilson manufacturers tag inside has adjacent size (44) and "Dry Clean Only" flag tags. Signed in marker rating 7/8 out of 10. Chandnois was then a member of the Michigan State Spartans and he would go on to play with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1950-1956. Well preserved with expected use evident throughout.
