The following year he would piece together one of the most celebrated collegiate football seasons of the decade and then embark on a Hall of Fame caliber professional career. The piece stands just over 20" tall with a handled trophy cup atop wooden plinth with a descriptive placard affixed to the front. Text reads, "The Wm. K. Jenkins Trophy Awarded To Charles Trippi, Most Valuable Player, University of Georgia, 1945." A pair of winged figurals decorate either side. Base measures 12.5"x7.75".
