Description: Bob Paffrath autograph College All-Stars helmet c.1940. Leather and composite shell helmet is finished in silver with red and blue accent stripes. This style was prepared for and used in the series of annual Chicago Tribune sponsored charity games which were played at Soldier Field between the reigning NFL Champions and a team of college All-Stars. Wilson marks is impressed on the front and size (7 1/4) is noted on back. Appropriate light use and some minor age/storage related wear throughout. Signed on the front in marker rating 8 out of 10.
