Description: Knute Rockne twice autographed "Chemistry" notebook from Notre Dame c.1910. Original lined paper writing tablet (6"x9") was used by Knute Rockne during his days as a student at Notre Dame. He has signed both lower front and inside front cover in pencil "K Rocke" rating approx. 5/6-6/7 out of 10. "KR" initials on the outside were presumably done by him as well however they have been traced over. The year 1910 is filled in on lower front cover. The inside is filled with notes that appear to largely related to chemistry (and he has titled the first page to that effect at the top) with some other content mixed in. Handling and some general age/storage related wear including loose covers, some loose pages, chipping, small tears, creases, and other flaws. Some marks/scribbles throughout may have be done by someone else (in a few cases they appear child like). A desirable piece related to the school at which Rockne would later become a legendary coach.
