Description:Spectacular 1933 Philadelphia Eagles advertising broadside (1st year in National Football League). Exceptionally rare 14"x22" promotional piece done on heavy stock with a large player graphic and "Philadelphia National League Football Club" titling. Text below relays their schedule starting around half way through the season with the Chicago Bears noted as the November 12th opponent. The Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates game dates are reversed but the Packers and Giants games which finished out the season align properly with their 1933 schedule. It would mark the Eagles first season in the NFL, with the franchise growing to one of the largest and most dedicated fan bases in all of professional sports. Various flaws with the most notable being some nail/tack holes, chipping to corners, some creasing to upper left, and a larger tear/break extending from the top edge down through the sky blue colored text block. It retains exceptional display value, and is certainly among the premier early Eagles related display pieces that we have seen. Rarity can not be overstated: FR/GD
