Description: Rare 1937 Bill Hewitt endorsed (autographed) Philadelphia Eagles check. Bold "William Hewitt" fountain pen signature appears on the back of a check which was issued by the Philadelphia Eagles and made payable to him. Also signed on the front by Hall of Fame coach and Eagles team owner Bert Bell. The autographs rate 8 out of 10 or better. Check displays typical handling wear (including some vertical folds) and has a punched in cancellation. Hewitt ranks among the toughest of all Football Hall of Famer autographs having passed away in 1947 leaving a limited supply. Authenticated and encapsulated by Beckett/BAS: Sigs.
