Description: October 17, 1914 University of Penn Quakers vs. Navy Midshipmen presentation style football. Period ball has been hand painted/lettered on a side panel "Penn 13, Navy 6, Oct. 17th '14." The game was played at Franklin Field in Philadelphia and was one of only (3) which the Navy team lost that season. Surface crazing and general age related wear throughout. The ball is quite heavy and was presumably filled with a material that would help it to maintain shape and display value: GD-VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
