Description: May 31,1964 Willie Mays photograph by Dayton Smith from the "Longest Day in Baseball History" (PSA/DNA Type I). Black and white 5"x7" image of Mays pictured just before the start of a double header between the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets at the Polo Grounds in New York. The first game ended up being the longest game in MLB history lasting 23 innings at a tally of seven hours and twenty three minutes. The second game brought the total of play to nine hours and fifty two minutes which is a record that still stands to date.
