Description: Vintage Willie Mays monogrammed porcelain dinner set with serving pieces. Large porcelain dinnerware set from Willie Mays personal collection with each piece having "WM" monogram in gold. Set includes as follows: (15) small 6 1/2" diameter plates; (8) soup bowl with 8" diameter; (15) salad plates with 8" diameter' (18) dinner plates with 10" diameter; (16) cup & saucer sets; (4) Salt & Pepper shakers; Gravy boat; and (4) misc. serving pieces including cream and sugar. Condition is very fine with evident careful preservation within the Mays home showing light general surface wear. Accompanied by a potentially related (unclear) original 1962 invoice from the Oakland China & Glass Studio to Willie Mays for various "Dinnerware Pieces 24K gold 2 initials WM" glasses.
