Description: Willie Mays' fur coat by John Boughton c.1960s. Fashionable fur coat was custom made for Willie Mays by noted designer John Boughton whos' tags on the inside. Boughton was highly regarded and created furs for a number of high profile individuals over a long career. Offered example is lined in red silk which has a repeating "Willie Mays" pattern printed on. In fine overall condition with some modest expected wear. Mays can be seen in what appears to be this same coat in a picture of him with the designer.
