Fine quality 14K gold cufflinks presented to Willie Mays by the National League in celebration of Mays' 40th birthday on May 6, 1971. Disc shaped gold backgrounds each nicely display the National League insignia in enamelwork. Reverse are inscribed, "To No. 24 on Your 40th" and "May 6, 1971", respectively. Mays has signed one of the cufflinks in black marker rating 8 out of 10. Minor surface wear throughout.
