Description: 1967 Willie Mays Sportsmen's World Baseball Award. Elegant figural trophy as awarded by the National Academy of Sports Editors annually more commonly known as the "Victor Awards". Heavy gauge brass figural positioned atop a black marble base with brass decorative ring engraved to Willie Mays in recognition of being the outstanding baseball player for 1967. Statue stands an impressive 19" tall with only minimal surface patination having small area of brass band at back partially detached from the base.
