Description: Willie Mays professional model baseball bat c.1968 (PSA/DNA GU8). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35” long and weighs 34.6 ounces. The bat remains showing fine evidence of moderate use including ball marks, blue bat rack streaks, and grain swelling. Strong eye appeal with noted condition points of a small professionally repaired knob chip and several bruises visible on and around the barrel area. Model number D2 stamped on knob end with “Mays” impressed in block lettering on the barrel. This bat is the one of only three game bats within the Mays Collection and the only non All-Star Game related variant.
