Substantive weighted base with mahogany style veneer coating displaying two gilt decorated Rawlings baseballs and a fielder’s glove with inset engraved acrylic image of Mays. Applied brass placards on front of the base engraved to Willie Mays and also denoting the years in which he won the NL Gold Glove award. This career award was given to Mays as the leading honoree to name an All-Time team of Gold Glove recipients in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the award.
