Description: 1961 Mantle-Maris Enterprises archive including articles of incorporation and autographed agreement - the M&M Boys in their historic season. Original September 22, 1961 dated agreement typed on (4) sheets of legal sized paper has been signed on the last page, "Mickey Mantle" and "Roger Maris." The document allowed for use of the Mantle and Maris names in connection with the marketing of "articles of personal wear" by Biljac Products. Blue ink signatures rate 8 to 8/9 out of 10 and the piece is also signed by a Biljac representative. Typical fold lines and some light toning and handling wear; original "Certificate of Incorporation of Mantle-Maris Enterprises" document as filed in Delaware and dated September 25, 1961; lengthy typed "Corporate Records" document which appears to have been done/filed on the same day and concludes by nominating /naming Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, and Frank Scott as directors of the Company; additional copy of the same "Corporate Record" in light blue folio/cover; a "By-Laws" document (may be generic and it does not appear to have been filled out with any particular relevance to Mantle-Maris Enterprises); and a file copy invoice for the expenses related to filing with the Secretary of State in Delaware.
